Bonin, T, is a multimedia artist based between São Paulo and Rio, Brazil, with a passion for photography and film. Growing up in Friburgo, a small mountain town in Rio de Janeiro, her art is deeply rooted in her surroundings and life experiences.

"My photographs explore the spaces where the natural world and the human spirit intersect, inviting viewers to pause, and reflect. My work is about meditating on simplicity and impermanence—like a single flower floating on water or a lone chair casting a shadow across an empty beach. These quiet moments carry a timeless nostalgia. 
 

Bonin’s journey began with portraiture, documenting the youth and underground music scene in her hometown. She is also a musician so it felt natural for her.  From there, her work evolved to film, fashion, and art projects. She studied cinematography and photography later on, so her way of exploring her work was very natural and never limited to rules. After moving to London in 2014, she spent three years soaking in the creative energy of the city before returning to Rio, where she completed a Postgraduate degree in Photography and Image at IUPERJ.
