Bonin, T.

A passionate multimedia artist currently based in São Paulo and Rio, Brazil. Devoting herself to photography and film, Bonin is inspired by her upbringing in Friburgo, a small town in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro. Her approach is contemplative, providing a gentle contrast to the fast pace of urban life. Through her work, she often captures nature and youth, inviting viewers to reflect on life and what it means to be alive. She started in portraiture, documenting the youth and underground punk music scenes of her hometown, and later she expanded also to film, fashion, and art projects. 

She studied Cinematography at the International School of Cinema, and Photography at the School of Visual Arts (EAV Parque Lage). In 2014, she moved to London where she lived for three years. She later returned to Rio and completed a Postgraduate degree in Photography and Image at IUPERJ.
